Although we were at Maristone a short time, our experience was nothing but positive. Each area was helpful, professional, sympathetic, kind and, most of all, interested in the care of my husband. Your nurses are knowledgeable and always had time for my concerns. The caretakers in memory care became our family. They are more than caretakers, they love the people they are caring for and keep them safe. Jason in physical therapy became Bob’s best friend and he trusted him. In that relationship he got Bob to participate in his recovery and want to get better. Tim in maintenance was a big help and always polite and accommodating. Bob became content and that was all I could ask for.

My sincere thanks for all that work there and touched his life and mine.

I love the staff and the nurses at Maristone. My mother has been there for almost two years, and she is treated like a member of the family. The place is small and intimate, so the caretakers really get to know the residents. There is much one-on-one care, lots of warmth and humor, and plenty of attention paid to mom's health and well-being. If any questions arise or if mom's behavior changes in any way, I get a phone call. I know she is being gently cared for, and it is a great relief to me. The events offered to residents are wonderful as well. My mother loves music, and she used to be a choir directer. Judy makes sure that Mom gets to all the musical events (of which there are many), and it brings her great joy. They also have arts and crafts, bingo, card games, and a variety of special events--a celebration of the artists among the residents; a showing of baby pictures where everyone tries to guess who's who; an antique car show; a valentine dinner with a harpist and low lights, a hoedown, a sock hop, and much more. The interior space is also lovely, with warm golden colors, cheerful apartments, an inviting dining room, a pretty patio with plenty of flowers, and a cozy bar space upstairs (with a piano). I find it pleasant to visit, and mom and I can always find a nice space (indoors or out) to walk, sit, or talk (or sing!). I've had the great pleasure of making friends with many of the residents as well, many of whom assured me that they would watch over mom when I was out of town on a study abroad trip this summer. Everybody lives together like family. I would recommend Maristone to anyone. I know that all the people who work there really love my mother and all the residents. I'm grateful for their professionalism and steady, patient care.

This place is wonderful. My Mom has been at Maristone for over 4 years and the treatment she receives from the nurses and staff is outstanding. I couldn't ask for any better healthcare than what she is receiving from the nursing staff. My Dad passed away while at Maristone and the compassion shown to my Mom and family went way beyond what was required. they keep me well informed in any change in Mothers health and are always available when I call.

A Nice Communitty for my parents, we are pleased. My parents are doing very well here at this community. They have adjusted well to it, and so far they like it. I know they are safe and in good hands here. They have good staff, they are good at what they do. They do have activities offered. They are pleased with the meals. Overall everything has worked out very well. This is a community I would recommend, it worked out well for us.

I needed to find an assisted living facility for my 99 year old mom, as I could no longer care for her in my home. Mary [Removed] was magnificent in helping me to get Mom placed. Maristone has truly fit the bill, and I feel it is the right place for her. I like it because it is small, and all of the staff gets to know the residents quickly. When the receptionist, office staff, housekeepers, and even the plant supervisor all know the residents, one can be sure this is a staff who truly cares! There are many activities to participate in, and Judy does a great job of trying to get the residents involved. My mom has only been there a short time but is adapting quite well. The therapy that is in house is wonderful, and with her advanced age, Mom is making great progress. The goal of the entire staff is to keep the residents as independent as possible and let them have dignity. It is wonderful to not have to worry about Mom getting good care and to have the stress removed of having to care for her in my home. I love that there are actual nurses on staff, and they definitely know what is going on with their residents. I love that there is a NP who visits the facility weekly and is in communication with the staff about the residents' health care needs. I truly could not have found a better facility to place Mom, and thanks also go to Liz [Removed] at a Place for Mom, who was able to help me start the search for placement!
